Municipal Garbage dumpster, Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Recently, we began a partnership with Project Rohi (*highly encourage you to follow them on social media platforms to see how wonderful this organization is).

 

We visited the municipal garbage dump, a community where hundreds of individuals (and their families) live and work amidst challenging circumstances.

 

It was a deeply humbling experience as we distributed food and spent valuable time with them, conveying the heartfelt message that they are precious and valued members of the community.

Throughout this week, our focus has been on instilling the spirit of generosity within our own household - particularly among our children. It's about fostering empathy, compassion, and a sense of responsibility towards others, especially the less fortunate.
